Maria considers her work as a therapist to be not only a profession, but a vocation. It is a key priority for her that clients are offered a non-judgmental and supportive environment to share their experience. Her approach to therapy focuses on understanding a situation from the client’s point of view, or in the case when working with a couple or family, each person’s unique point of view. Maria believes the change process is unique to each individual and within each relationship. She is passionate about helping clients to feel fulfilled in their relationships with others and that the successes in therapy are built from a collaborative effort together each client’s willingness to be an active participant in the therapy process.
